yes, I updated thru SDC. I just reupdated Iconpackager again, and the same thing occured. I'm sure it's just a false positive but, it's playing havok with my system.
I just updated to the katest Iconpacker release. During install, I recieved a warning of a virus detected during the install. I figured it can't be, :This is Stardock, they wouldn't do that". Ever since the update, I can't wipe any files that I have deleted. I always get the warning, File being used by another process. I figure it has to be the update. It's the only thing that has changed on my PC. Has anyone else run into this problem? Any feedback would be great! Th
I reverted back to the prior beta release and the problem was gone. This newest release seems to work much better except for the underlining of the system fonts. I noticed another post regarding the same issue. The only thing that has changed on my PC is the Windowblinds update, other than that everything is the same.
Is this going to be looked into at all? It is driving me nuts!
It has to be in the build. It never happened before with any skin, now it happens with all skins. Nothing else on my PC has changed. I see that someone else is also encountering this problem. If nothing else I can just revert back to the earlier build.

In the latest build of windowblinds all the system fonts are underlined when on mouse over. I have gone through every font in the system and none are checked to be underlined. Basically just multi tasking. It seems to happen more often when multiple windows are open. It has been doing it so long that I have just gotten used to it. Windowblinds is worth the problem. My Windows Explorer crashes at least once a day with Windowblinds loaded I've just kind of got used to it. I have the paid version and all currently updated. It's annoying as hell. I have searched forever for a fix to this. I must say it has gotten better with the more current updates. Would be great to get a fix though.
If I remeber right I thought it was one of Kol's skins. I believe Thallos. I opened it up and it was the same ol' arrow. I really do think it was him though. I did this on a remake of Aquanox, and of course PC issues and "poof", file gone. Maybe one of the programmers from Stardock could jump in here and help. PLEASE!

I thought I had a couple of skins that had the more programs arrow changed but, I can't seem to find them. Would you happen to know of any? Thx!

to my knowledge the system icon can't be removed. just set transparency to zero and place the glyph where you want it. i use this on most of the themes i use. also i usually set the offset enough so it's off the screen in skinstudio. I would love to figure out how to change it and make it a functioning button. Good Luck!
Actually I figured out the problem was with the titlebar size. Once I slimmed them down, all the ql icons were fixed. So far so good. I determined that anything above 24 pix height in the titlebar, seems to give problems with the icon size in the ql bar.
I am referring to the icons in the ql bar. I have tried all the suggestions in the referenced link; none have worked. I have two virtually identical WB themes; one is fine with the QL bar and the other has the large icons. When I inport msstyle themes, all my caption heighta are redone to the same size. I have done all the inclusions/ exclusion items suggested in windowblinds. Is it possible that this is a Windowblinds issue. I would be willing to send the problem themes to anyone willing to tak
I find it very hard to believe that with all the skinners on this web site, that nobody has run into this problem before. I really would appreciate some input from someone on this issue. I have a few of my favorite themes that are unusable because of this issue. HELP!
I have imported many mstyles into windiwblinds before. The last few I have imported always show big icons in the taskbar. I have done everything from resizing image. sizing margins, contenet margins, fonts, etc. Nothing seems to make a difference. Any suggestions? Thx!
What AV are you using, a virus scan (McAfee) takes about an hour for me, 40gb HD, 70% free space. Hec, Windows Defender takes about 1 1/2 hours. I am using Anti Vir. I have used McAfee and all the others. Anti Vir by far I feel is the best. It's fairly fast. low on memory and best of all it's free. Thr virus definitions update daily and it seems to catch everything.
Actually I ran a virus check the other day over all theHD's. Surprisingly it only took 40 minutes. The real pain is when a drive becomes really fragmented, or transferring massive amounts of files. I just transferred 250 gb to anher dive and it took slightly over an hour. I really wonder sometimes if it's worth running that much disk space.
Wow! I didn't think anyone else was running that much for storage except me. I am currently running 1.7 Tb over 7 hard drives. It's a real pain ti manage all of it. Fortunitly I have had very few corrupt HD. I think if I ever lost all my files, jumping off a building would be less painful.
