OK gave that a try, no go. Tried re-verifying again, said 3 files failed and was reacquiring them, then... still no joy.

So after more than a month from release, GalCiv III Retribution is still unplayable. Trouble tickets aren't allowed for this game so I have to keep going to this forum. It is the same problem as in the beginning, no complete tech or item descriptions (_shortdec error) and blank popups. I have tried the "Verify integrity.." over 20 times without fixing the game. I have subscribed to the "op_in_update" but there are no fixes there. Am I just out of luck now?
