Yeah I agree it's true. On the other hand, if you would look closely at the "renewed" Laker team, I believe the lack in experience will be overshadowed by youth and thirst (don't forget the Laker-pride!) going to this season (and the upcoming years). Kobe will surely be their undisputed leader on the court (probably not off of it) and the rest of the Lakers led by the promising Lamar Odom and Caron Butler will always be there to contribute to the team'
