Daniel Ruoss, you were blacklisted after I repeatedly warned you stop your personal attacks and to act like a civil adult in my blog site. You are only 1 of 3 people I have EVER blacklisted from my blog and considering that my blog is the 8th most popular site on JU, that should tell you something about yourself and your behavior. It is behavior like yours that causes some of the more rational and sane bloggers to leave JU altogether. On t

This problem can be easily resolved if oposing council starts seeking to impose Rule 11 of the Rules of Civil Procedure. Rule 11 allows defendants of civil suits to have a case dismissed because the plaintiff and his/her lawyer filed a frivolous law suit. If the judge rules that the complaint was frivolous...both the lawyer who filed the suit and the defendant get fined. The lawyer can get into deep crap if he does this so many odd times. It is a v

"many of our laws will remain on the books, in one form or another, but they’ll be unenforceable”. Not to mention steadily cutting the EPA's budget to make sure they aren't enforced. "I want a clean world and a comfortable life." Then perhaps we need to redifne what "comfortable" means...some would call our minimal lifestyles excessive. I think we can have both but it means investing in alternative fuels other than f

I would be more tolerant of arrogant people. As for "not doing well enough," I guess it depends on what "well enough" means and in what context. I don't believe in feeling guilty for not being perfect. Perfection can only be strived for but never really achieved...so why feel guilty over something that you cannot possibly achieve? I believe life is one big learning process, no

"The particular brand of Wahabi Islam which is now branded as Islamic Terroism was exported to Afghanistan by Bin Laden" Actually, it was being exported before Bin Laden by the Saudis but they certainly didn't mind exporting him and others like him to Afghanistan...the Saudis continued to fund Islamic jihadists in Afghanistan even after the bombing of the USS Cole...as did Pakistan.

"The realty is taht the world would collapse into chaos, but for the availability of oil." So why do we put our national security into one oil-filled basket? Wouldn't it make more sense to come up with an alternative to oil dependence instead of fighting war after war trying to secure it?

The root of this problem is the promotion system within the CIA, HSD, and DOJ. The rank and file get promoted based on how many prosecutions, arrests, or successful operations they respectively have, therefore, they are territorial over their cases. Upper management gets good press and the institutions get larger budgets based on their respective successes which also leads to "turf battles." I am not sure how to solve this "turff" problem or whether
