My preference window on ND 1.50a.010 no longer displays. I click the proper button on the weather window, hear the click, but the preference window is never visible. My guess is that it is being displayed, but off the screen, and I have not way to drag it back. I can "right-click" on the same button to mute sound (this works as it should.) I have re-installed ND, but this didn't work. Suggestions?
You da' man! Although the "lock desktop" box was unchecked, some goofy file in the "Web Pages" dialog was checked. I unchecked it, saved, and voila - a night-filed desktop. THANKS!
Bichur - thanks for the tip. I gave it a try, saw the screen flash (with the image showing very briefly) then the solid color showing back on top. It didn't work - Natural Desktop is getting the bottom of the z-order stick.
I've been having trouble throughout the day with my wallpaper changing by time of day. I reviewed the setting on the "Custom" panel - all are set to "Dynamic" (including wall paper setting.) My wall paper, however, is a solid color. It looks like this setting is overriding the dynamic wallpaper of Natural Desktop. If I tweek the wallpaper in display properties, the sample view on the panel shows the appropriate image, but when I hit "appl
Ok - I took some time and searched for the graphics. Inside: C:\Program Files\Stardock\DesktopGadgets\NaturalDesktop\AppData are all the wall papers - including the Christmas tree (winter night.) I'm feeling better now. It looks like I missed SummerDay.jpg this afternoon. I'll have to watch closer tomorrow to ensure things change.
Yes, my wallpaper has changed to SummerEvening. However, now I'm concerned - will I get that really cool Christmas tree (as advertised on the web site) when winter comes around? I'm looking forward to the lights and a bit of infrastructure - this nature scene will eventually get old ...
I should mention that the sun in the weather window is properly moving, and all settings on the Options screen are set to "Dynamic", and Wallpaper setting is "use default."
This morning I purchased and installed natural desktop. Since then I've watched the program behavior, read the users guide, and have the following questions: 1) Is the wallpaper supposed to change by time of day? I've only seen "summer morning" up to now. Does it change? If so, when and/or how often? Is it so subtle that I haven't been able to detect it? 2) I'm currently viewing a really orange, forested hillside scene. How
Does Natural Desktop hook to the screen saver? I didn't see anything under the "display|screensaver".
I hunted around and found a few links: http://www.guru3d.com/article/atitraytools/189/ http://www.radeon2.ru/atitray/plugins.html A 45 minutes scan of google didn't find much....
Is anyone aware of a temperature widget? I'd like to keep track of my CPU and motherboard temperatures. There are utilities available, but I'd prefer a cool Silica desktop widget. Thanks!
