New Update = Not Working?!

Well, I just installed the latest update (02/01/06) and now the game won't even load anymore? Is there anything that I am missing?

Prior to this update, I was getting the usual random CTD which I tolerated. But now the game won't even load anymore.

Buck mine to wont start from SDCentral but I can fire it up from the start menu then run the game exe directly

And why in the heck would the latest update cause a total re-install of GC2 like it did ?

What version did you tried to download?

BTW, people that haven't access to the gamma shouldn't try do donwload the GC2. And you don't need the "show prerelease version" checkbox to get beta 5.
