Interface changes?

In Galciv 1 the interface/music changed when you switched between alignments. I've never really noticed this happening much, besides maybe music, in the beta. Is this going to be a feature in the game? Definately adds ambiance to an "evil" or "good" civ.

Probably won't have time in the release but the BOnusPak may have alternative UI for evil and good.

OMG...that's ridiculous! I always thought that that was a really neat feature of GC1. No time? How diifficult is it to make an interface. It's only graphics. That's probably the easiest thing to do in the development of the game. I'm already bummed about no MP, now this?! :*(

The UI for GC2 is much more complicated graphics-wise than the one from GC1, and there's still lots of other stuff to do before manufacturing.

Hilarious! You do know what you're talking about, right?

I'm a bit disappointed myself that the nice feature of different UIs for alignments won't be in the release, but I understand that there are more important things to do. At least there are different colours for the different races, that allows for a change.

You have obviously never worked on a large development project! This game goes to manufacturing in a week! This means at this point the developers should just be doing testing and bug fixing. There is no time left for implementing (and possibly introducing new bugs) new features!

I am a big fan of this feature too. But there are more important things to be done first.

In GalCiv I, one of the top "bug reports" were the alternative interfaces.  People didn't realize they were a feature, they thought the graphics got corrupted.

So no, you can't just whip it out.

As long as we can get it eventually.
