Are old saved games compatible with Beta 5?

I have noticed that the sound effects slider in Options either isn't working or is scaled wrong so that as you increase effects the bar doesn't move noticeably.

* The end turn button has gotten stuck 'depressed' once or twice after extended play and wont end turn.

* I think there are a couple of mem leaks as after several hours of play on a huge map the game gets very sluggish.

*After extended play the adding cash slider to trade deals with the AI gets borked and works in reverce (dropping from 100 to 99 turns it green), but no matter how much cash you add for even minor trade items you can't get a deal.

It feels much more polished.

I tried to recreat this but couldn't. I will play longer to see if it happens later on.

Old saved games are not compatible.
