Spelling

Not only do we misspell when we type fast, just to get a point across, sometimes we have keyboard issues. I bought one of those Microsoft comfort keyboards, hopefully to relieve the stress on my arthritic elbows and wrists (which it doesn't). It came with a mouse, and both keyboard and mouse are wireless, which I like, particularly the mouse. However, regardless of the condition of the battery, or the software reporting excellent reception between the keyboard and the receiver on my desk, it sometimes misses. Sometimes, I have to keep hitting keys to get it to register; sometimes, I have to move my keyboard around to get it to register. It's a real pain. It sometimes results in misspellings, lost letters, and lost spaces.

But, count on lil whip to point out my every single mistake. For one who claims such moral high ground and self-rightousness, she really seems to spend an inordinate amount of time calling me to task on stuff, blaming me (wrongly) for for others' posts and posting from work, to just plain name-calling. So, she continues to harass me wherever I post, in the hopes that I'll get pissed enough to articulate here wht I think of her in some manner that she can take some uncharacteristic higher ground, at which point she and her appendage, drmiler, can get me banished from the forums. I do not go around posting about her (except here), or following her, or even posting at all in her blog, though she has not blacklisted me. You can be sure, I've blacklisted her. But, she just doesn't stop her nasty lil game.

First off we don't need to do anything except point it out to admin. You'll take care of the rest all by yourself. In time you'll self destruct all on your own. And would you like me to post "all" the things that you have posted about LW? Starting with this one? There was "absolutely" no reason to bring either of our names into your reply was there? Nuff said. Rant off. Sorry about the seeming hijack msladydeath.

Not a problem, this wasn't ment against anyone, and LW isn't the only one that has corrected my spelling. Many, MANY times in the past.

"Some" misspelled words are to be expected. Consistently doing so is an entirely different thing.

I know. I also know I just can't spell dispite my best efforts. It's a diagnosed learning disability that took me years to get to where I'm at (as far as spelling goes). I'm proud of the fact that I can spell as well as I do, and continually try to work on the works I have problems with.

LOL, yes it was! If you kinda skim it though instead of trying to out and out read it, it is rather easy to understand. Blew me away when I got it in my email.

I can stand misspellings...once in awhile. It's when words are so horribly misspelled that they could possibly be pretty much anything in the dictionary.

I can too. I just find it saddening and somewhat scary that some of the highschoolers here (the chicks seem to be the worst) have such atrocious spelling that I can't understand what they're trying to say.

Generally if I comment on someone's grammar, it's because they're being a pest to begin with and I just can't help myself. LOL.

I make a lot of typos, but I correct them. Sometimes, believe it or not, (lol) even I have to use a dictionary.

I don't think someone who reads what I write should have to be an interpreter. It's my responsibility to make it readable.

Well, if you want to correct mine, you are welcome to, but I warn you!  It will be a full time job.  Between my pinched nerves and atrocious spelling, I always have a bunch of them!

And I will be sure to correct your math since that is my strong point!
