BoXXi thinks he is so 1337 displaying my IP address publicly and making an anti-Catholic remark in his refusal to apologize.

Tech Cat thinks he so 1337 dredging up year old threads demanding an apology. If you didn't get one then You're sure not going to get one now.

I tried to get over what BoXXi did, but I couldn't. I emailed him and he just ignored my e-mail. So here I am still pissed. How can you defend publicly posting private information China Cat?

Revenge!! Post his IP address OR better yet, post his email 100+ times for spybots to catch it and spam him.

I wish I could get his IP, but it would just get d sooner than mine did.

Hus are you being sarcastic or do you really see that what BoXXi did was wrong? Maybe an IP address can be retrieved but I don't need it displayed to a bunch of script kiddies that would have never been able to find it in the first place.

A Therapist is not enough, I either need an apology or revenge.

Displaying an IP address is the same as displaying my private phone number or my cell phone number.

I don't have an attitude problem but BoXXi has one for displaying an IP address and never admitting he was wrong.

Nobody is outraged when an admin abuses his power by displaying a user's IP address. What BoXXi did is wrong. I don't care what his status is ont he website, displaying a user's IP address is still wrong.

And all you're going to do about it is whine? Vengence is most satisfying in this situation. Don't get even, get ahead!!

Tech Cat, is this still the case when he displayed it momentarily to prove to you your denial of something, and then almost immediatly d once you had seen it... a moment in an active conversation?

If this is the case, then you will have to lambast people using message boards all across the net.

The post would have been seen by few, and remembered by none until now.

Anyway, when you bait and taunt people... what do you expect? He did nothing wrong.

goodmorphing, BoXXi was wrong. IP and Digital Trucker agree that BoXXi was wrong in Stardock chat. Elfkura felt he was wrong. He was wrong and how anyone can think it was right is beyond me. Just because someone is an admin does not give them the right to humiliate users.

A whole day is hardly momentarily and he should have just emailed it to me instead of displaying it publicly.

Admins don't exactly exist to be humiliated either, you know. I think the whole context of the entire conversation, and of all of the discord you were bringing to the message board in general at the time need to be taken into account, and not simply the isolated grievance. That is really unfair, IMO, to drag all this up when it is so out of context.

I don't really care what other people think. I watched the whole miserable thing and I know what I think.
