While I hold that art, especially meaningful art which speaks to people on a level of emotion and experience can only be created by other humans, others feel differently. Many feel that with more learning and sophistication, machines will achieve that. I disagree.
As for displacing artists, perhaps that will be true for the mediocre ones, and true for less discerning consumers, I beleve that true artists will prove that the experience of excellent art will be clearly superior to AI "art", "music" and "literature".
I am glad that people are establishing human only platforms/venues, but as water seeks its own level, so will true art as opposed to artificial art.
