Multiplicity VERY laggy

Hey all,

Hope someone can help me!

So i started using Multiplicity, coming from Mouse Without Borders before. And i am find it incredibly laggy, controlling my laptop (on WiFi) from my main PC (LAN).... i didnt have any issues at all using MWB....

Plumbed my laptop into LAN, and it is still laggy.. the mouse takes a few seconds to catch up to where i am trying to move it, causing missed clicks etc...

Any feedback would be great! Thanks!!!

Lag usually indicates either a firewall that's messing with packets to optimize things (it might do but at a huge cost to latency on smaller packets like MP mouse data), or an unreliable wireless network.

Something using every single bit of cpu on the primary computer could also cause lag.

So, after multiple reboots, and accepting software firewall notifications, it seems to have settled down, a bit.

As far as networking goes, i have a full unifi setup (Security Gateway, Switches & AP's) ... as mentioned, when using MSFT Mouse Without Borders, i didnt have any issues.

PC is a AMD Threadripper 1950X (16 cores, 32 threads) 64GB ram.. and no CPU issues at all.
Laptop is a Razer Blade 2019 Advanced - Intel 8750H, 16GB ram.... also nothing hitting CPU

I can only assume that it took a while for the Multiplicity protocol to worm through my network, both over WiFi and LAN.
Weord though, as MWB worked first time... :)

Thanks again for the help guys! :)
