Logon Screen Problem

I recently switched to a cable connection rather than a 26k connection. My problem is, my logon screens (that I download) don't work any longer. I get the usual WinXP logon where I put in my name and password. I use logon studio to create logons, could that be the problem? Thank you in advance for your help.

that's really bizarre...I wouldn't think that your net connection would have anything to do with the logon process. Is this a direct cable connection to the net or a connection to a domain?

The DL should have nothing to do with it providing the DL worked. Try manually applying the Logon via LogonStudio.
Logons work on mine as i also create them so it shouldn't be that.

I have tried it both ways, and it still isn't working. I have a direct connection to the net. It IS bizzare, it worked great before I switched over.

Then try a re-install of it, just apply the default before you do.

It sounds like you have your machine networked now.  Networked computers get the security login screen (The dialog box that asks for name and password), not the XP login screen that shows multiple logins.

If that is not what you are getting for the login, try uninstalling LogonStudio, reboot then reinstall.

well, I think I figured it out. Before I was able to hit the "windows button" + L to log off, now I have to actually go to start and then logoff. That's really strange, but at least it works and I can still use my downloaded/self made logons. Thank you all so much for your help.
