Max Civilizations on Ludicrous Map??

So I'm told you can play 64 Civs on a Ludicrous map. So why does the game crash to the desktop any time I have more than 32 civs selected?

According to the link below I should be able to.

https://forums.ashesofthesingularity.com/482955/galciv-iii-crusade---ludicrous-update-changelog

Do I have bad or incompatible Civilizations or factions from steam workshop?

I am not running any mods other than downloaded ships and Civs.

Yes I do have a good gaming rig:

Operating System: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700K CPU @ 4.00GHz (8 CPUs),

Memory: 32768MB RAM

Available OS Memory: 32706MB RAM

Page File: 10703MB used, 26867MB available

GALCIV III Installed on hard drive (Drive: D):

Free Space: 1740.9 GB

Total Space: 3815.3 GB

Display Devices:

Card name: AMD Radeon (TM) R9 390 Series

Display Memory: 24521 MB

Dedicated Memory: 8168 MB

Shared Memory: 16353 MB

Current Mode: 7680 x 1440

So I’m curious if there are others with this issue or if someone has a fix to the issue.

Thanks,

@AdmiralWillyWilbur has posted that he's running with 95 civilizations, so while I've never tried it I believe it can be done.  I think he has 32G RAM also.  Check the debug.err file you'll find in Documents\My Games\GC3Crusade to see if you have any meaningful error messages to give you a clue.

If that doesn't help, try checking out this page: https://esupport.stardock.com/index.php?/default_import/Knowledgebase/Article/View/496/161/general-galactic-civilizations-iii-troubleshooting

Instructions on reporting a problem to Stardock are towards the end of that page.

Yep done those things, the debug.err file doesn't seem to show any errors or failures and I've done the troubleshooting page also.

I guess if the game can't handle large quantities of Civs or fractions then just say so StarDock.

But I thought that one of the benefits behind having the game in 64bit.

Did you open a ticket with Stardock to report your problem?

Can you run more than 32 factions/civs using just those from stardock? Nothing downloaded or from steam.

I run 64, nothing downloaded or from steam. All Stardock most with just II-IV added to their names. With the exception of the Custom Faction I created and play as and made three copies of.
