So I'm about 250 turns in and I checked my uncolonized planet list when I saw all these Class 25 planets pop out of nowhere. About 10-15 of them! They showed up all along my territory and slightly outside of it. Where did they come from?
There is a galactic event which converts dead planets to good planets (or another .IIRC) that creates the new planets.
Either way I'm pretty sure it's from Galactic Events. I try to anticipate with these and have a bunch of Colonizers ready.
Congrats! That is a rare event. I have never got it in 1500 hours of play and you nailed it. Happy colonizing!
That might make sense since the 2 of my planets from Benevolent tree (The Class 10 and the Class 16) each turned out to be one of these new planets. But of course I cant colonize them because I already colonized them! Interesting to note though, they both changed into class 25 planets. Now I feel a little ripped off with my Benevolent choices.
thats funny - I seem to get it every few games to the point I look for it.
Huh, in all this time playing I've never seen that one! More to look forward to. 
Makes me wonder what other interesting events there are? where can i look to find out?
I actually would like to see higher class planets than what they have. In two I usually got at least 3 20+ class planets. Now you see it now you don't.
Ok, going to say this thread jinxed me, as I do not recall a game where I have not gotten this event, yet the game I am playing now (turn 328) I have not gotten it yet...
