New v1.6 Metaverse Feature

Along with all the new gameplay features in Galactic Civilizations III v1.6 your end of game report information is now stored in the Metaverse. Review past victories, learn from your defeats... or study your rivals to see how they play!

The data is in the Metaverse section in-game:

  1. Click "Metaverse" from the main menu.
  2. Click "Match History" and then a game.
  3. OR search for a player's name and click a game from their game list.
You can also view the information from http://galciv3.com/metaverse:
  1. Open http://galciv3.com/metaverse
  2. Search for a player's name and click a game from their game list.
  3. OR log in with your Steam credentials at the top of the screen (if you haven't logged in already).
  4. Click "Match History" and then a game.
NOTE: Only GalCiv3 v1.6 games save the complete data but you'll still get some basic information for older games.

Finally, using the web site is you can link to your best GalCiv3 games on your favorite forums or social media like this.

Also, if you complete the same game multiple times (by loading and completing the game again) then your highest scoring game will be the default. Your other attempts will be selectable from the "Completions:" dropdown.

You can see an example here.

I would love to know who in the world uses this feature.

Interesting. I am ranked 1,157th. It only tracks the games I did to unlock achievements so far. I guess because most of the time I don't play until I hit the victory screen, only until it is impossible for the ai to recover, then I start a new game.

By the way, my compliments to whomever added the flair to the gnn universe report page. Makes the statistics more fun to read. And now I can finally compare my own stats to the general population.

Yes, only completed games are scored and tracked.
