Partial freeze mid-multiplayer match

On two separate occasions tonight, the game froze partially in the middle of an FFA, with no particular trigger that I noticed (two other games played out without issues). In both cases, most of the animations stopped working and keyboard input no longer registered, but mouse inputs did and the game continued to advance. Basically, the game was mostly playable, but you couldn't see most of what was going on.

I was in both games and had really weird stuff start happening. All of a sudden my screen would scroll to the far left corner. At first I thought something was wrong with my mouse or keyboard but nope. I would scroll back to my base (which was to the right) and it would go back to the left immediately. Someone else had this happen too in the 2nd game.

Other weird thing to note was that the keyboard stopped responding so I couldn't escape or get to the main menu. The game would keep playing without me but my screen was semi-frozen. I could buy stocks but I couldn't sell resources or buy someone out. It would make the noises as if I was doing it but wouldn't actually do it.

does anyone have a replay of this game? it looks like a graphics logic issue, so it probably would replicate on replay.

I am so angry with myself for losing that game.   Having my keyboard stop working 1/2 way though for 1/2 a day, and sometimes being locked to the top of the map made it that more wtfworthy.

Found the fix. Should be in next_version tomorrow.

Yeah those were a couple of funky games. On another note I had the funniest 1v1 ever tonight. I was playing against expansive player and he dropped three steal mills on empty tiles to start the game. In response I sold out of steel and bought up iron. He must have kept selling resources to keep his steel running and after a short time had $180 and game over. Lol
