Finshed a game between me, cubit, blues and saberman on Beta 7, trying out how the game feels after the pleasure dome nerf. No one was really playing to the best of their abilities, I myself was very tired and we were all experimenting, and it led to some interesting shinanigans, unique situations and a 40+ minute game. I think this is a great showcase of beta 7 as it currently stands, sorry that no one has a video of it :P

Enjoy.

Okay okay it was 2 robots so pleasure domes were no where near as powerful as they should have been, and we played for fun rather than to actually win, so it is not an accurate representation of beta 7 at all :P

Cubit might be slightly offended if you call him no one.  :P

The above match starts at 2:04:50. Was really interesting to watch. I haven't tried the last build yet, but from what I saw on the stream I got the impression that balance-wise we're moving in the right direction.

Cubit tried to nuke his own tile, and it wouldn't let him :D

I wish I knew what I was thinking when I squashed the one high water tile instead of holding onto it to make large amounts of money later. The mistake was clearly worth it to see that buying 250k nukes is a winning strategy, though :P

250k nukes were a desperate attempt by cubit, and it only worked out because of GS's heavy mistakes in not using his hacker array properly. Yes, spies counter hacker arrays, but they only counter empty market manipulation, and do not counter market shifting.

I had to keep on nuking because the slant drilling would have undone my prior investments in undergound nukes :( biggest mistake ever not getting slant drilling on this map with UNs.

Your opponents had something like 9 offworlds online, so deleting water was your only chance. A hacker array of your own would have been appropriate, countering your opponent's hacker array, but I guess you won anyway. It was a great play.
