Cool, but sadly no new effects :/

Menu FX and some window transition FX won't work.

Middle click to flip the window causes the flipped window to be completely traslucent (like no skin rendered) and only text is visible.

Which OS?

If this is Windows 10 did you uninstall WindowFX5 (if you had it) and then reboot and then install WFX6 as it sounds like you have old files in use.

Slow wobble usually means too high a resolution for the gpu.  Some machines have very underpowered graphics processors but very high resolution screens.

Ok, I am using WindowFX 6 on Windows 10 Pro.

I have two Nvidia GTX 650 graphics cards attached, each with 3 monitors.

First 650 runs 3 monitors at 1920x1080.  Second 650 runs 3 monitors at 1600x900.

Wobbly Windows runs jerky. Motion is rough.

If I disable the 3 monitors on the second card, all is fine, motion is smooth.

Up to date NVidia drivers, 16 GB DDR3 ram, and a 6 core AMD Phenom CPU.

Any ideas?  Neil?

Multiple physical GPU setups are never recommended due to them often causing additional slow card to card memory transfers.

I am afraid you are extreme edge case here.

OK, I guess. Works great on Windows 8.1, same rig, same hardware. Same dual gfx cards. Seems like a WinFX bug to me. Dual Boot system.

I am planning to install this. Is the high vram usage the main problem that I should look out for, in the beta?

WindowFX 6 is out of beta and has been released.

How come my OD Manager says I'm up-to-date, WindowFX says there are no updates, and yet my WindowFX program says it's "Version 6.0 BETA"?

This is what mine says right now. Perhaps you can try uninstalling/reinstalling.

Sorry Neil,

What I meant is WindowFX 6.01 works for a time and stop.  Has to switch off and on again to start to work.

Thanks

EDIT

I kept hitting continue and it finally activated.

WindowFX 6 force desktop manager to close very often especially with MS outlook 2013 running on window 7, aside from this annoying thing the product is far better than windowFX 5 when it comes to smoothness of transitions and wobbly effect,

FX and WB do not seem to play nicely together! Tried several installs, crashes immediately.
