rapid transactions

If I shift click to buy 100 of a resource, then immediately shift click to sell 100.  Assuming there's been no other player/colony buying/selling, is it a lossless transaction?  

Or do I lose some cash in the bureaucracy?

 

Same question applies to selling then buying, but I assume it's consistent

lossless. Howeevr the colony will always be putting pressure on every resource, so ideally try not to sell and then buy again, although the difference is like $1 per 200 units.
