Is there a prompt I'm missing to notify me when treaties expire?

Yes there is. It's under the notices tab (I believe that's the name) where you get all the info for what happened that turn.

After playing all the way from the alpha through all the betas and now on 1.01, I only noticed that a couple of days ago.  I'd prefer something more noticeable.  Perhaps like the GNN from GC2.

I just offer the AI an economic treaty every 15 turns for 50 turns and they pay me very well for it....
