[Beta 2] Experiencing Intermittent Freezing When Leaving Planetary Screen - Requires Task Manager to Kill Game & Reload

After modifying the sliders and such on the planetary screens, I am intermittently experiencing freezes when trying to exit the planetary screen by clicking "Done". I do not yet see a trend or trigger. I am forced to use task manager to kill the game and reload.

This is happening an irritating amount of times. I am adjusting the slider to go from 100% production on a planet to 100% research. I exit the govern screen but when trying to leave the planetary screen by clicking done, freeze frame! Task manager is the only way to kill it.

Thanks, Raynman. For some reason I thought the CTD's and stuff were captured automatically and sent to SD. For future crashes I will grab the necessary files and submit the info.

You're not the only one who thought that.  We were told that Steam would automatically capture dumps and other CTD information, but I've seen other postings indicating that that Steam feature only works for 32 bit programs.

Certainly Stardock has to be in negotiation with Valve to get this deficiency corrected. Right Stardock????
