Psyched about the Galciv III announcement!

I just saw the announcement on Rock Paper Shotgun that you are working on Galciv 3, and I'm really looking forward to it!

The trailer was great, but what I don't understand is that it seemed to be more of an end game cutscene from Galciv 2. Crushing the alien under humanity's bootheel was what the game was all about wasn't it? :)

All joking aside, best of luck with the Gal civ 3 development, I hope you guys at Stardock come up with an amazing game.

I woke up to Stardock's announcement, skipped coffee, bought the version with the earliest access immediately, and now I'm re-downloading GalCiv2. It's great to have a game of this calibre to look forward to. :)

Heh ..... did you have to re-install Impulse under its new owner? :P

Nah, I re-bought it on Steam when it was on sale at some point. :) GalCiv1, too, but I think that's too old now.

I think I still have a GC2 disc around somewhere, but its just the vanilla version.  I bought the full edition with all expansions on Impulse a few years back because it was so cheap which means the disc I have is redundant.

Good news. Pre-ordered. Look forward to see how it develops. Cheers

I have the tin box somewhere, but it's just collecting dust. It's curious in a way. My handheld games increase in value every year (old GB/A carts especially), while PC games just never retain their value.  I picked up the GalCivs on Steam for convenience -- and I think they were 80% off and cost just a few bucks. I'm too dependent on Steam, but oh well.
