question about loading the game and missing textures

If LH loads off of steam, how can i run the game in administrator mode to fix the graphics glitch of missing textures. This happens periodically when a patch is installed, and the game forgets where some graphic files are. This was a simple problem to fix before steam, but running steam in administrator mode does not fix the problem. I've tried turning every option to minimalist settings and running the game in windowed mode, which of course made the game run faster, but didn't fix the missing textures. Oddly enough it is running perfectly on my kid's and wife's laptops. Uhg.

 

edit:I have even unistalled the game, erased all residue files and reinstalled to no change

Steam doesn't like it when you run games in admin mode. But I've always found when I needed to I ran the program directly from the folder

...\Steam\steamapps\common\FE Legendary Heroes

and run the LegendaryHeroes.exe in Admin is the way to run that particular game in Admin mode. Hope that helps you out.

ahh thats where the exe file is, the steam shortcut points to cloud so i was very confused
