Stardock 20 year anniversary series

I was thinking about writing a series of articles on the history of Stardock. That is, how we got started and some of the challenges that are involved in running a small technology company.  But I wanted to find out first if there’s interest in this before I put in the time to write them.

Let me know in the comments area if you’re interested in such a series.

I always like this kind of stuff and background. Just don't be generic about it or fall into the dull of it. I think I speak for everyone when i say we definitely want the details, the dirt (good and bad), and we want to know about the personalities that make it what it has become today, even if they aren't still involved.

The vision and commitment that brought you all this far had to have had it's ups and downs as well as sacrifices personal or otherwise. I think it's those things that create the best possible picture, story, and insight as to what has allowed a person or entity to achieve their dreams and goals.

Just my humble opinion. I'm looking forward to whatever you post on it.

I'm sure there are those here interested in reading it but it would definitely be something for your kids to show your grandkids and their kids, etc.

I'm alos work in game industry but on smaller scale so I'd like to read how you manage to grow in to maker of Elemental series.

I'm definitely interested; I read the Stardock Customer Reports, and I like your writing style. I also read the early history you wrote (that included the Microsoft-IBM war over OS 2.0), and that was enjoyable as well.

Definitely! I've been a fan for some fifteen years, well whenever the first Galactic Civilizations came out...

Also, Brad, Legendary Heroes is fantastic. You guys have done an amazing job...

What a long strange trip it's been, eh? I think it would be an excellent read.

I say go for it, just don't let Doc talk you into letting him do the "photographics" work. ;)

At my age my attention span is very short, I would watch a video though.   :-"

Ok, it's settled. Will work on it during the coming months.  Thanks guys!

Brad, it would also be nice to include a group employee picture with who everyone is if possible.

I think you should dictate, or have some voice conversations with Po and then let him write it. He is a natural writer (among numerous other talents from what I've seen ). With his wit and your recap of the facts it would be a total success that would go down in history as a classic.
