LH Beta This Week? How Will This Go Down?

I am skeptical whether LH beta will show up this week.

But yea, Steam keys will go out me thinks.

Sadness. Guess I'll just have to spend my time helping another 4X game and...oh, I don't know....maybe play some Starcraft

I hear that, I'm about to join you on the unemployment line soon thanks to sequestration.   Hopefully the GI Bill isn't slashed out so I can go to grad school at least.

We'll probably get 1.4 this week I think, and FE next week.

I'd sooner them take their time and get it right rather than release earlier and cause more headaches.

Afterall, we'll have 1.4 to test.

I don't see an LH Beta forum yet.  Might be a tell-tale sign.

I've just pre ordered and downloaded the LH beta on steam. I plyaed during 40 minutes. I like very much Fame mecanism and new Heroes abilities, skeletons and new terrible beasts.

Now it's time to go to bed (in France) and have sweat dreams about this beta.

I would have expected an announcement before LH was available on Steam. Is Steam different in the EU (specifically France)?

In fact, I didn't pre order it directly from steam. Yesterday, in the afternoon (in France), I navigated on elemental website, in the store, there was an access for LH. So I bought it, 19,99$, and I could see my key which I printed.

I haven't received the confirmation mail yet from stardock. I was a bit anxious and tried it on steam (I don't like steam, but I like the work of Stardock). So I used the key on steam and then it started to download the game for beta access. 3 hours later, I could play itbefore to go to bed (a bit excited).

So, maybe, it was a test on the store,  I can't reproduce this today.

I played it for 40 minutes only yesterday. I like new habilities, new beasts, competences tree, fame for recruting heroes... It seems to be very good (I'm a fan of Stardock games and their support, maybe my objectivity is limited).

But I know I'm very impatient to carry on playing it. I'm waiting for the end of the day work (the day will be very very very long).

Hm, but it seems LH Beta wont make it out this week...?

I am looking forward to it pretty much as well! Bit jealous :'(

I guess when you broke through the barrier, Stardock should respond...by opening the beta for the rest of us as well

Happily playing StarDrive Beta until this comes out.  Depending how good LH is it is going to be rough deciding which to play.
