Time travel is a very interesting thing to think about, since it is a paradox - if you know what happened in the past, you should be able to do something to change it should you find yourself in that past.

Yet whatever you did to change it has already been done.

I agree with your casting of the psychotic Sith Lord.  She plays psychotic very well, as well as evil.

Though I think some of her best work was playing Hermoine playing Belatrix - very different acting needed.

I'm more hoping Disney will remaster the original trilogy.

I may not like the prequels, but it's the destruction of Solo's character that pisses me off more.  I can't sit through the new version, ruins the only cool good guy.

I have the Trilogy edition and see no real signs of that.

When his character is introduced, he has a chat with a bounty hunter that's come to collect him.

Solo is an underhanded opportunist that never plays fair when he can take advantage of his enemy.  He blows the bounty hunter away from under the table in a surprise attack while they're having a conversation.  He's smart.

His story line advances when he shows that under his intelligent, self serving behavior, is a conscience that occasionally results in him doing heroic, and utterly retarded things.  Like showing up in the middle of a battle after he's gotten his payment.

Asshole then remasters the movies, releases them anew, and "softens" his character by making the bounty hunter shoot first.  Now he's a moron.

It may be a minor detail, but Solo is the only good guy that doesn't have a dick up his ass.

While I agree Solo shot first, if that kills the whole trilogy for you I think you're being a bit too much of a grump.  Like those guys complaining about Sins not having voice acted tutorials or the Korsov not using both pylons.

You have to put things in perspective. Carrie Fisher was quite attractive.

No, the whole trilogy is dead because it's filled with tacky crap that breaks the flow of the movies.  I'd rather have picture degradation than tacky interruptions to what used to be a well made setting.

The biggest interruption is what used to be a classic scene, the Cantina.  He destroyed it with that retarded pop music addition.  If he wanted to piss on his audience so bad, he should have gone the distance and had some bimbo pop star on stage instead of overdone cgi aliens.

The market for unaltered remasters is huge, but Lucas rules out their release.  He made it big because other people controlled the purse strings and rewrote retarded crap out of his original scripts.

I figure his remasters are revenge.

Well, smarter kids means smarter scientists AND smarter movie producers, so maybe someday one will be able to make a good Star Wars movie.

I think better writers and a more intelligent general population to appreciate their work is more important as far as a better Star Wars movie is concerned.
