What crafts the rebels use

Hello I have been trying to change what crafts the rebels use , as they use TEC=Tech crafts and I'm trying to mod the crafts and abl for that race. I'm hopeing it would be easyer to change what ships they use ensted of making a new race. I do how ever have the new Race files but they cover E & D ver. of the game I'm playing/modding Rebellion. I would be greatfull for any help. I'm not new to modding as I have made meny mods for STALKER ,CS an Pyp as well as some meshs in DDS format but I am new to modding SOSE. Sorry for all the miss spellings and what not thanks again for any help :)

the methods from ent/dip should work fine, just the precise file contents might cause errors, but they will most likely be missing lines that have been added to the entity for rebellion.

Ok ill use Winmerge to compare them thanks for giveing me a starting point :)

So with the new add-ons like the Titan , Corv , Cap. BattleShip2 and the new buffs + Abl I just make a copy and change them from techloy or techreb to RACE1. I have been looking at he Rebellion and the NEW RACE files in WinMerge and they seem for the most part alike. is there more that I'm missing or overlooking , or dose the above sound about right ? sounds about right, BUT you will also NEED to add the new entity files to the entity.manifest, and adjust the count of entities at the top of the file, and if there is ANY new lines in the file(s) it is a good idea to add the lines in the same spots.

You could make the loyalist TEC have some variants with advent plasma and vasari phase missiles, then add in a couple of "reverse engineering" research items that unlock those ships (heavy with plasma and long range with phase missiles come to mind) and also provide some damage/range bonuses at the same time. 

Make copies of the vessels, change around their weapons, make new research unlockers/bonusers, add the new entities to the entity.manifest, then add the new ships in place of the old ones in the tec loyalist entity file so you can build them.  Enjoy your work.  Doesn't do much, but it makes some sense that after so much fighting you'd figure out some of the enemy's technology.
