Until the last couple updates I've been able to tell if my "boarding parties" were deployed & successful. Now, I can only tell that the "ability - boarding party" is being used but nothing more.
In games prior to the last couple updates I would get 1 or 2 ships occasionally, now I go the entire game and not get anything...
It is in the Known Issues thread, the Boarding Parties ability is broken.
I picked this ship on a previous game thinking it looked like it was half decent.
I couldn't see exactly what it was meant to be doing and as such ive discarded it. Perhaps its bugged but I still don't understand what its meant to do...
Just seems like a waste of a cap slot to me...
The ability steals an enemy ship if it should be destroyed while the ability is up on that exact ship.
POS Cap, no one I know uses it. Would be awesome if it could capture capital ships.
i have gotten it working only when the ability is on autocast. The ship iteself seem powerful if the ability was reliable, stealing an enemy ship in the middle of their fleet then detonating it for huge damage to everything around it sounds really nice if i knew i would have those cannon fodder ships, but without a supply of cannon fodder to fuel the ship, it is crap.
