[BUG] Mines

My scouts cannot un-phase enemy proximity mines, the decloak mine ability activates and then goes into cooldown but the mine stays phased. This bug has occurred in every game I play, however I have not been able to test if homing mines are bugged but I'm booting up a game now against Advent and I will try to find out. Likewise I have not been able to tell if my own proximity mines are effected either.

I am experiencing this or a similar bug.

Its like the scouts don't quite move close enough for the ability range, if you manually move them slightly closer then the mine gets revealed.

I think this bug has been around for a while, but yeah, its only due to the scout trying to use the ability while actually out of range. I always just tell me scouts where to move rather than manually use the reveal mines ability, so that helps this issue a little bit but should still be fixed.

No, putting a scout in the middle of a mine field does nothing. the scouts just keep spamming their reveal mines ability when they are perfectly in range and nothing happens. any closer and they get blown up. drone hosts with mine control also does not work.

right now, mines are immune to everything, unless there is something I'm missing

And lucky me, I am just fighting an Advent AI who loves filling up its gravity wells with hundreds of homing mines... Oh boy what a joy! x_x

I am just spamming kimikaze scout squads for the time being. Can't wait for next weeks update lol.

I just finished a game with the new Beta and it seems for me at least to only affect mines left over in a gravity well once I have finished off the planet.  Even if I recolonize the mines are invulnerable.  Arcovas have no effect.

the issue was occuring for me while i was still bombing the planet, so if you're sure you had no issues before you took out the planet, there might be either a few issues going on or some kind of trigger that makes them immune.

might be why some people are having this issue and some arent

I've had this as well.

Playing TEC (R) vs TEC

The scouts would not reveal the mines - it just keeps auto-casting reveal mines (even in range of them) and the game does not remove the invulnerable tag from the mines - I've also noticed that I can't turn auto-attack off on my scouts either.

I tried a full fleet containing scouts as well a seperate scout fleet - both had the same problem.

I had to use a Titan to 'smash' my way through a reasonable mine field - as you can imagine, its not the best way to clear them!

I decided to end my last game because of this.  It's just to tedious to try to deal with mines without the scouts working properly.  Hope this one gets resolved for the next patch!  Enjoying the beta though!
