Dune Sting!

How I miss you being hit by a weirding module.

I am the absolute worst with Sedna, yet according to stats she is one of my best demigods for some reason. Stats mean nothing.

Generals are strong when you don't have one of your own... as shown in the generals vs assassins pantheon season :)

Even shit like crimson vial on rook doesn't compensate for a monk. (or lack there of)

In conclusion, generals are fine, monk idols are strong when you don't have one of your own.

I don't think it was a serious question :) But if I'd have to answer it in all seriousness, I'd say generals, as a group, are much better balanced than assassins (strictly speaking, a quality gap between Oak and QoT is non-existent compared to that between UB and Reg). They have a stronger average, but top assassin is undeniably the most powerful DG by a long shot, so it's still kind of a draw. Actually, I think point-based DG picks as per 2nd community tourney rules reflect their relative power quite accurately, except that UB should be worth 4 pts on Cararact, of course.

See? That's just humiliating, LO. These stats make fun of you! I wonder, though, how can you be bad with Sed, if you are good with QoT? Ah, sure, she can summon no Shamblers! ;)

Oh yeah... well:

http://pantheon.demigodthegame.com/demigods/player/105442/

he's the number 4 reg.  1 win 3 losses.  Also the number 2 rook with 12 wins and 15 loses.

Wait... what is going on here... heh... confused pacov goes to sleep.
I think ya missed the sarcasm.

Because QoT is meant to be played like a selfish biatch, it just happens that she can also be incorrectly used as a team player, like Sedna. I'd speculate that it was a limitation of the developer's diligence that allowed her to shield friendly allies not in her personal army.

:D

Play a game as general vs assassin without monks. Things are pretty well balanced, just the ability to heal up without returning to base is quite potent and takes alot out of slower, high crunch skills like snipe.

eg: Without monks in the game, snipe is a very powerful skill

I know you aren't entirely serious, but there is much truth to it. QoT is much more egotistic, especially your build. Well, maybe Cow's weak-ass shield QoT is even more selfish :) People actually told me horrible legends about CowbuttQoT: for example, they claim he announces at the very start of the match he won't shield them, won't buy cit upgrades, won't share a lane, etc.

Sedna: "We are all connected". <- Hot damn, team player

QoT: "I will pretty much rape you and you'll like it" is what her background story sounds like <- Not so much

Lol, you really haven't played with my qot. I get curr and lane on hp more often then not.

Someone should make a mod script that messages this automatically to teammates at the start of the match, I would pay money for this. :)

If you read past posts I am of the same mind set.

Thought images while I am playing QoT

*Shied Minotaur Idol* I am not doing this because I care about you.... you are simply a more efficient mine sweeper or can draw more tower fire this way before you die.

*Shield teammate about to die* damnit, good help is so hard to find [sigh of derision] What would you do without me chuckle head. (coincidentally, this is even more hilarious with my 1 point in shield build because they don't expect the shield to buckle so quickly, I get comments on this all the time)

*Shield teammate drawing tower fire while I spike and annihilate it* In the year 20xx of our LORD, QoT went hence forth to annihilate the tower that was an affront to her glorious, awe inspiring presence.... oh, and player X came along to feel like they made a contribution to removing said tower.

:D

I always imagined this about Sedna.... "brrr is sure is cold out here on the glaciers"

Sela "Take a look at what you're wearing, idiot"

I never do that, either. It's a bit like Rook bouldering > hammer-slamming my bishops, then typing into All chat: 'LOL, why bother to summon them?'. Well, congrats on some efficient mana conservation, dear Rook!

Heh, yeah. I mean, she's not as minimally dressed as QoT, but that cleavage is surely impractical :)

Well, there is a good reason... when you have shamblers and monks, they tend to cluster right next to you since all the ranges are the same... tower fire generally hits all your units at once unless it is drawn by the fodder. (also remember I am using only shield 1 for most of the game... with Plenor and Vlemish, it takes about 10 seconds to regen the cost of shield 1)

1 shield is enough to prevent 1/2 my units from getting wiped out when I take out an FS1 tower.

It is also important to shield when minesweeping, otherwise you don't get all the mines before the minotaurs die.

Interesting. I'll adopt this trick it if I ever go low-level Shield build, since shielding for 840 mana to prevent a loss of units that cost less to re-summon is no fun.

It is also important to shield when minesweeping, otherwise you don't get all the mines before the minotaurs die.

Yes, assuming you get only Shield I, and Reg has Explosive Mines III or Shrapnel Mines, it's still worth it mana-wise (600 for 660/770 trade-off).
