So - last I checked, good ol morph swore off DG and moved over to LoL.  I'm not sure if he's still watching the demigod boards (he was in a few threads at least a month or so ago).  My new goal is to get him playing dg again.

If I recollect, he quit dg sometime ago.  We all know the frustration you can get by 1) playing pugs 2) trying to play with your friends.  I think the last game I had with morph was him on a team of newer players vs me on a team of newer players and his team getting destroyed (not any fault of morph). I got the impression that the majority of his games were him getting destroyed (tier 1 player) as a result of so so teammates because the option, at the time, was to pug with whoever or not play.  Anyway, I know some folks can be stubborn, but I think we have enough of a small community to support him and get him back in the ranks, playing good games.  Anyone else support this campaign?

I remember playing against Jona, Rawrr (?), and Nightstriker with 2 PUGs on my team and winning fight after fight by stunning Night's heals while Jona screamed HEAL ME!!!  :')

And that's why playing Sedna is no fun.

And how is that fair? Its a 3v3, and if 1 of your 2 allies disconects, its pretty much gg at that point.

If I were you, I wouldnt count those games, and I would ask for a rematch, and all that.

Nice to see that you are still on dg forums morph and somewhat considering re-installing DG. If DG takes too much time, you should still hop in vent once in a while to shoot the shit.

Yeah well, I have re-installed DG, and I'm playing some games vs AI to see if the game still does the trick for me ;)

I'll let you guys know if I'm gonna be back or not.

Mission accomplished, methinks :) Just caught morpheas in his first game vs. human opponents in 10 months! Heh, he was apparently surprised when I commented on this. Unfortunately, my crappy laptop connection just kept making trouble, so I was denied the honor to play with/vs the returning legend ;)

Just letting you guys know that I am officially back into DG. I will only play casual as of now, but I dont know what will happen in the future, so I cant really promise you anything (might get really competitive, or even quit) :|

This had something to do with this thread, but not quite. I was thinking of installing DG about a month ago, so dont start saying, "we have dragged morph back into DG" now, ok? *_* (just kiddin')

I just finished playing 1 pug 2v2 game (took a long time to start), with kevinabcd1988 on my side, who apparently has a weird HW Rook build but somehow it works like a charm. I was Erebus, he was rook, and our opponents had the same DG combo, but were both BotF. Before we started the game, the host (doggu), said to me "morph, kevin plays HW Rook. you are in for a treat", basically saying that he will be bad, or feed or whatever. I didnt mind at all, I just wanted to play 1 game after all this time. So I figured, we are gonna lose, thats fine.

Well, we won :) Anyway, I cant wait to lose next time:grin:

Anybody who wishes to play with or vs me, just pm me (from the forums of course), I wont leave DG open all day, or host games.

I'd be glad to, even though I'm: (a) technically a noob (i. e., not in your league); (b) not interested in playing top-tier DGs. I'm sure you'd prefer playing with/vs rawrrrs, pacovs and orcuns (no offense), but if you ever have time... Well, I think it's time for me to install Vent anyway, so I'd love to see you in action and learn :)

I didnt receive any friend requests in game, and thats probably because my name ISNT DG-morpheas768 |-) Its maybe because my name is GM-morpheas768.

Also, if GM-morpheas768 doesnt work, try morpheas768, because I have changed my name, but in game it still shows GM-morpheas768, I dont know why.

Actually screw all that. I am just gonna add you as friend :P There, that settles it.

Well, atm I have 2 issues with DG.

1. I cant get my nickname changed.

2. I keep getting spam messages from myself while in game, lol.

let me be sneaky - I think you'd enjoying playing with those guys - decent players and they are pretty laid back. 

you might be able to solve that spam message issue by shooting an email off to support@stardock.com and telling them the problem.  Same thing with the nickname issue.

Like I said to BadDaddy8, there is a problem with the time matches are held, because 9 pm - 1 am EST is 5 am - 9 am (GMT+2) for me and I wake up at about 9 am, lol.

As you can understand, I am not a hardcore online gamer anymore, and I am unwilling to change my schedule just for Demigod. I would have to not sleep at night, in order to take part in the tourney, and I cant do that.

I can stay up all night a couple of times, but cant do it every day.

Edit: Jeez LoL is horrible on patch day...I can hardly load up their forums and it won't even open the shop morph :(

Yep, thats what happens when a major patch comes out. Halloween theme and all that....attracts a lot of attention.

I just hopped in and played 2 games, right after the servers went online, and the LoL client was updated for me. If you log in to play right after LoL gets back online, there arent much people on. But after a couple of hours, everyone is notified of the "servers are back online" thing, and run to see the changes from the new patch.

Then, its just unbearable :| But I was lucky enough to lurk until servers were back online :)
