Goal - Drag morpheas768 back into Demigod

So - last I checked, good ol morph swore off DG and moved over to LoL.  I'm not sure if he's still watching the demigod boards (he was in a few threads at least a month or so ago).  My new goal is to get him playing dg again.

If I recollect, he quit dg sometime ago.  We all know the frustration you can get by 1) playing pugs 2) trying to play with your friends.  I think the last game I had with morph was him on a team of newer players vs me on a team of newer players and his team getting destroyed (not any fault of morph). I got the impression that the majority of his games were him getting destroyed (tier 1 player) as a result of so so teammates because the option, at the time, was to pug with whoever or not play.  Anyway, I know some folks can be stubborn, but I think we have enough of a small community to support him and get him back in the ranks, playing good games.  Anyone else support this campaign?

Nah I like morph but he's broken the curse.  No good reason to suck him back in.  It's because I like him that I do not support this campaign.

I believe he still posts in the "you're banned" thread.

Would really love to see morph return but don't think he will.

I think he resigned from hardcore gaming for a while, at least that's my impression. I see him here and then in LoL.

^Same problem as you, might I add. Rammus, Rammus and only Rammus.

Eh he said he was taking a break from LoL to. He posts dailty in the "The Chatroom" thread in off-topic you could catch him there. Though I doubt he will come back.

Sorry, gotta agree with McShane on this one.  In fact, if you guys find Morph, ask him the secret on breaking the addiction to this game.  I wanna get on with my life... or just start playing DoW II with Hedgie, not sure which.

I accidentally uninstalled Impulse first last time I tried to go cold turkey and you need Impulse to uninstall Demigod.  So... I tried reinstalling Impulse but it won't let me... so, Demigod will remain on my computer unless I format my hard drive.

Just delete it from your hard drive

Program Files\Stardock Games\Demigod

8D

That won't work. The only solution is to delete system32.  :troll:

I like how Pacov says that playing with random people is frustrating and playing with friends is frustrating. Those combined means playing Demigod = frustrating.

Also seconded. But he already knows what that is (DoW II). Other option is Starcaft 2 but pffttt

I'd love to have Morpheas back as well, the more great players the better!

We two had some "quarrels" (he's a lil loose with words hehe) back in the day lol, mostly due to our hot mediterranean tempers clashing  ;) , but it always was challenge playing with or against him.

Come on morph, you know you miss yelling at me for not relocking that enemy portal!  X|

Seriously though, you'd just need to do as most of us and mostly play inhouse-vent-friends games, it would be an (almost ^_^' ) frustration-free experience.

Heh - we'll, its true for me from time to time.  We all get the frustration of having 1 weak player resulting in a loss (especially if that guy is on a humanitarian mission to feed the other team).   If I do the play with pals exclusively, then if there are not enough people, I typically jump to the other team to mitigate the premade whining, which often results in a game I have low odds of winning (but I'd rather be playing than waiting in a lobby).  And then the highest level games are a blast as long as its high level team v high level team - and this typically means that someone not in the magical tier 1 category gets dropped and I feel like a jerk for cutting out on someone that's been playing with me for a bit.  Anyway, the least hassle for me has just been pugging :)  But demigod = frustrating is true all the same, but its a blast when everything comes together.

agreed! I only pug to practice certain builds or lengthen limits of fights with very close calls and never expect to win. That helped my frustration to settle down a bit.
