What's next?

I understnad diplomacy just came out but i can't help but wondering (hoping) if or what sins next big step will be. Both of the latest expansions have been nothing shy of amazing imo but I don't think we can really throw another one in without adding a new race or altering the game in some bigger way.

IMO I wouldn't mind seeing the race that the visari have been running from. I'm not horribly certain how this could be implemented given the strength of this unknown enemy. Perhaps an AI (with upgraded AI >.>) vs 2 or 3 human players.

I.E.

start off with an average map with an impending attack from the (imma start calling them daemons) daemons leaving the players with the option of banding together or simply taking over in preperation for the coming invasion. Personally I like this approach as it keeps on with the various factions of the various races having proxy battles upon various star systems. You still wouldn't have to tell a great big story as each battle would just be the exact same as previous games with the exception of these daemons attacking. Also the vasari know roughly when and where their enemy is at.

I won't lie, I tend to have horrible ideas, and thus tend to keep them to myself. However, I'm horribly bored and feel like posting this. If you have a problem with it or hate me for the stupidity of this post, well I don't really care. Because at most I wasted 5 minutes of your life, and you have wasted alot more time doing a lot stupider things in your life.
