Invalid Gamestate out of control now

Every game I have playerd in the past two days has ended, usually at the point where the game has been decided, with an 'Invalid Gamestate' error.  In the week prior, I noticed many more of these happening, usually when I was on the winning side.  Prior to this, these errors would occur only now and then.   And when they have occurred they happen at random times, often near the beginning of the game.

I'm really beginning to suspect that there is something new out there.  Maybe an exploit or means of disconnecting.  Regardless, I am really getting frustrated.  Only my losses are being recorded recently and my stats, which are certainly mediocre at best, appear even worse.  I've stuck with this game through a lot of crap, but this one is bordering on dealbreaker for me.

Try to remember your opponents' names. Apika and Belier13 have found a way to do this intentionally, I'm sure some other people are aware of it as well.

It can be done intentionally and it also occurs by design in some instances.  While I'm certain there are a few bad apples out there, just be aware that if you encounter this it does NOT necessarily indicate someone is using an exploit.  I know that GPG and SD are aware of existing stat exploits and were looking into things including banning individuals, but I'm not aware of anyone being banned as of today.  I don't think there has been an update provided by GPG or SD regarding a fix to the exploit.

I have had this happen to me a couple of times already. And most the time for me it happens when its a fairly even close match and lots of action going on. And all the sudden I get that invalid gamestate messege. And i noticed happening to some people too. This game still has issues. Just because it is working fine for some of you people doesnt mean someone else wont get any network problems.

This is what pisses me off. I was playing the other day and lost like 3 matches in a row, all ended well. Then the next 4 matches when we were about to win, BAM - Invalid gamestate.

Invalid gamestate will happen IF you hear the deep voice guy say "So-and-so controls the map!" AND someone (who probably knows this will happen) simply quits the game instead of conceding. It cause a bug to desync the game. SO, either dont control the map, which means leave at least 3 flags on Cataract, or hope no one quits after you do. Hope this helps.

I've been getting a tremendous amount of these errors over the last week too. I agree that the times when they occur (just when it's obvious one team has lost) make it really, really easy to believe someone is causing them deliberately to avoid having their loss recorded.

It's really frustrating and a huge turn-off from playing the game. Please Stardock, get on it!

Oddly enough, for a while (last month) this happened to me al the time, only when i was winning... In recent weeks i think its only happened once.

Was having a great 4v4, really hard match when we got to their cit someone leaves and then yeah, invalid gamestate, totally ruins the epxerience :annoyed:
