Im trying to mod Entrenchment but I cant seem to get the Gameinfo folder in text so I can read it. If anyone could email me one that would be great. Just post here or pm me so I can send you my email address. Thanks in advance.
Have you tried Harpo's text/binary converter? https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/353296 It works very well and is easy to use.
Yes I have and I cant get it to work for the life of me! It says something like "runtime error 76" or "path not found". I guess Im just stupid. 
Well that is defintely odd... I would suggest you talk to Harpo about that.

the error 76 path not found is probably because sins is not installed on the computer that you are trying to do the conversion between txt & bin as my program uses the convertdata's in the sins folder

soasertsus I have hit a issue with the different versions having different convertdatas that appear to be NOT backward compatible, so I will have to alter my utility and supply all the convertdatas for each version and a newer set of files with each update
