Any Demigod Aus players?

I want to play Demigod online. I have had no trouble joining games and it runs oh so sweet. The problem I have is that there appears to be no player base in Aus and all those lovely people in the US are happy to kick someone with a ping of 250ms.

Is there somebody out there who wants a game?

there are a few of us australian players out there, but not many as the game is technically not released in australia yet.

should pick up soon though as the australian release will be coming out soon, and it will start out with the 1.01 patch readily available.

Um there's tons who play nightly - go look in custom games , look for AUS in the game names.

There are quite a few Aus/NZ/Asian players on in our evenings, enough for there to be a game open in the lobby at most times. During the day though there's very few, and yeh, pretty tough to convince most US Hosts to let you play.

Try going online after 6.00pm. Thats when oz custom games are around the most.

Just look online after 6pm there are usually games with names like aus/nZ, aust host ect. also if you use impulse to see what games are up it shows the region code, (AU) for australia obviously (poor Austria), of the host. There have been a few threads on this already they will help you a list of Australia players.

There are quite a few Australian players, but you'll struggle to get a game other than during the 7pm-11pm timeslot each night. There seems to be fewer players now that it has finally been released at retail, than when it was first released online - I guess that's the effect of people getting fed up with the connection issues.

Oh sure.  Somedays I'll get on and there'll be an Aus/NZ game.  We rock it, and just keep playing each other until we get our fix.

Actually, I can remember pretty much everyone I've ever played, because I play the same people every time.

I'm patient, though.  The game will spread.  And if not, we must forcefully pull the US hosters heads from their asses.

Yeah man there are quite a few of us. Usually we are all in the same 2 or 3 games though so you might have to wait 15 mins for a game to finish. I usually host a game and have no one join for 10 mins then bam it's full in about 10 seconds as another game ends.

Add me to friends and I'll have a game with you tonight at about 7PM +10 EST

Theres a regular 10-15 people that crank some late night (past 11-12pm)aussie demigod action.

The majority of everyone else seems to be either 6-9pm or weekends.

You'll get a pretty good ping to asia, especially the sing games.

The game still isn't out retail here yet?

Yeah there are a load of Aussie players. But you have to be on at the right time for a game. Normally late arvo and evenings are the best time. Don't even bother with mornings as most are at school/work...

Im an aussie player although i mostly play with friends for this reason.

If you cant find a regular grp just join pantheon or skirmish that way players cant kick you.

They are supposedly adding smart proxy system which will mean you auto connect to aus proxy servers rather than the us ones so when that gets done things should improve for us a lot.

Im around now and then (demigod is a great way to procrastinate) but my advice is play pantheon or skirmish. They can't kick you from those lol.
