pantheon matching making stupidity

Ok so i find the connection problems to much better now, however i now been experiencing this new problem.

 

1. Start a Pantheon game

2. Connection with 5 players works perfectly - everyone connected to everyone else.

3. Game waits for another player.

4. Keeps waiting

5. People leave due to frustration.

6. I leave because i dont want to play a 1v1 bot match

 

Question: Why wont the matchmaking system start a game after maybe 20seconds if everyone is all connected. It seems like the system is trying to find that last player whom never joins.

I would rather play a 2v2 or even a 3v2+1bot than wait, wait, wait and then have to start over because everyone leaves.

The system has probably gotten tuned to be too sensitive to not having a bot in the game.

I think the issue is less about the wait, but more that the system doesn't say "everyone is connected, waitng for 1 more player."  What would be even better is if it asked us to vote on whether to proceed or wait.

I had this problem several times last night.  It would be helpful to have a little chatroom you and the other connected folks could be in so you can talk to each other and say "lets wait for the 6th guy" or whatever.  I also find it very annoying that it matches me with 2v1 or 1v1 games when I strictly want at least a 3v3.  Some choice would be nice so I don't have to keep leaving games.
