Demigod Guides

For Game Version 1.00.0105

http://www.scarylogic.com/viewforum.php?f=4

I've started making the Demigod Guides again for the newly released version. All the Demigods have all their details brought up to date!

Guides in the forum: http://www.scarylogic.com/viewforum.php?f=4

Item database: http://www.scarylogic.com/demigod/items.php

I haven't started on the hero database, I'll do that shortly.
Also it seems the CSV outputs of game statistics doesn't happen any more so the reporting tool is useless unless I can find some sort of command to generate them again.

Yeah that is right out of the ordinary. I know it's not from linking it here, I've contacted my web host. I'll reply when it's back up.

All fixed and back up and running.

All the Items from the game should be available now and the Game Guide in the forums has had a huge overhaul.

Fantastic work on the guides. Going to give them a read now as I'm new to the DOTA'esque genre :) These should help alot.

I've updated a bunch more stuff today, full details added to the first post.

Very nice. You should request to get sticky.

The last row for item database pop up are cut of by bottom of browser. Not sure if it is just me, but im running in 1680X1050. I tried full screen and lots of intermidiates. The artifacts row is just to close to the bottom of the browser's botton scroll bar.

Great stuff.  Thanks for doing this.

You've got the small combat potions listed as 3s cast, when they are 0.5s casts.

Yup, you can't read most of the artifact pop discriptions due to being so close to the bottom of the page.

It would also help greatly if the name of the items were listed (instead of having to rely on a tool tip pop up).

Anyway a few minor tweaks and the site will be really cool/usuable!

Keep up the good work!

its more of a beginning of a wiki, but its still good work.

Guides tell me what items to get, what strats to play, etc.

This is a... manual.

Thanks for the feedback guys, not sure why I only tested it in IE, seems the tooltips don't reposition themselves on the page in Firefox/Opera. For now I've just added a bunch of black space to the bottom as a quick fix.

I could always change the names of each thread but in the end guide felt to be the best fit, there is a lot more info in the threads that you can't even find in game. Also I believe a guide doesn't have to hold your hand every step of the way, they are still giving you all the info to make an informed decision on how to play your character.

Thanks for that, all fixed.

OK, all the guides for the Demigods are up to date.

Seems there is a lot of unmentioned stuff on the tooltips, like the bonus Armor aura from the Oak's higher level Raise Dead Wards or the immunities to certain stuns that are applied so that two of the same class can't stunlock the enemy, etc.

ive referred to this many times over now

Question.. is there really no tutorial for this game?  Or is it a cheap multiplayer only type game?  I mean, even the crap vista game shadowrun had a tutorial and it was basically multiplayer only.

Or have I missed something?

scallawag - There are no built-in tutorials.  You've made several posts about this now and your question has been answered, please stop posting the same question over and over again.

If you need a tutorial to play this game then you dont deserve to play it :D

LOL ... so tru

its not a very hard game to pick up ... just a lil overwhelming right at the start since theres quite a few things. but thats like everything else. just take some time to learn it on ur own. i hate tutorials btw...
