Players who drop should be GONE.

One problem I have with demigod is that if one team gets a couple kills early in the game they win, you can almost be sure of it.

Of course if you play conservativly this shouldnt happen, but alas some people are bad at the game and pick worthless characters like Regulus and feed the enemy.

Then they drop, and I say yay! My team just got 25-33% better!

But no. Their AI shadow remains and continues to feed the enemy team for the rest of the game. The AI will literally chase the enemy of twice thier level down then stand there to be killed. A 2v3 means more experience for the smaller team and is pretty even, but 3v2 and 1 AI means the team with 3 have more players AND a free bonus package of gold and XP every minute or two. Its broken. If they drop just drop em, maybe split their gold between their surviving teammates or something if that sounds unfair.

Oh and either noobs just pick regulus or hes a genuinely bad character, when I see a reggie on my team I groan, when I see one on the enemy team I look forward to plenty of easy gold and xp when the game starts.

"and pick worthless characters like Regulus and feed the enemy."

hey! you take that back! :(

And I totally agree about the AI and the need for it to stop chasing to its death. Should be easy to fix I think.

regulus isn't a bad DG at all. A good regulus player can kill basically any assassin and most of the generals. While no DG has an amazing advantage over the others Regulus is still a strong character.

And i agree that players who leave should not be replaced with AI. If a player drops it basically says my team is getting owned cause of me so imma go and leave them with a poor AI who will suicide every chance it gets. Fair? No. But i think having some non decent players on a team is unavoidable since the game came out just a little while ago. Until bugs are fixed and others play the game more, there shouldn't be any complaints since ranks are gonna be reset anyway.

Regulus is a pain.

Killing him is a waste of time.

a good player he sits back and shoots, you run at him he runs to, you stop chasing he turns and shoots you again.

Kiting is annoying when your on the receiving end of it, this is regulus strength.

Late game  he is powerful when he can perm open his wings, AOE massive damage every shot, rips apart generals assassins not so well.

Even the nightmare computer will run headlong into my towers and 25 waiting troops when I'm at full health, every once in awhile.  They need to either:

1.  Decrease gold for killing Demigods,

2.  Not have dropped players be replaced by computers, or

3.  Make killing the -computer- worth like 1/3rd as much gold.  It's not like you can control the computer so why not, neither side would really be taking advantage of it then.

Should simply be able to kick AI.  Let people decide whether they want the AI or no one.

Played a 3vs3 Slaughter(actually 2vs2 with 2 AI's) and it was a close match. We would get one kill and then othe team would get one. My team was able to push them back to there citadel and actually damaging it inbetween kills until my Human teammate dropped. Now my two AI partners would walk over to their citadel and attack it like this was a conquest match and the other team was able to farm the last 10 kills as I tried to defend them...

Stupid Stupid Stupid AI was damaging itself on the citadel as the 2 AI's and human on the other team farmed them... never attempted to retreat or teleport out. /sigh Citadel wasn't even below half life.

AI is too stupid. Lost a game with 21 - 3 (my k/d ratio) (fortresses game mode) because one of our players was AI (3v3). It just feeds em too much. I'm at the point where I just leave a game if AI takes over for one of my teammates.

I just want to understand, most would prefer no DG to an AI DG?  In the 3v3 I played, where 2 people droped, I would have just had to quit imediately too.  At least with AIs I could stay/try.  Would'nt people be complaining JUST like they did in Sins (before the AI would take over), HEY SD, WHY IN THE HECK DON'T YOU MAKE AN AI TAKE OVER A DROPED PLAYER!

Make them nightmare or hard ai when people drop, preferably nightmare. In some cases though, the person leaving would actually improve the team if the ai was changed.

In sins an AI partner can be useful for trading income, and slowing the enemy down, where as without AI in sins the void of territory left when a player drops will likely be swallowed up by players proportionally so the smaller team is at a disadvantage.

In demigod wealth is both limited (flags) and createable (DG\Creep kills) An AI ally in Demigod both STEALS AI kills gold\xp and FEEDS the enemy with easy DG kills.

Its a huge lose lose in demigod.

And yeah nightmare AI MIGHT be fair, but not with good players where any AI will get smacked down easily. Better to just drop em and give their gold to their surviving allies I say.

Agreed. Drop the player entirely, no AI. There's no reason to have it there. Doesn't do anythign useful. It'll just sit there and feed.
