"Random huge (multi)" map is bugged

Hi,

Description of the "Random huge (multi)" map:
Max players: 10
Stars: 5
Planets: 132

So I started this map with an ally, thinking that we'll be 2 factions/solar system and that I'll be with him but after a couple of minutes of exploration I find out that we are in fact not 2, not 3, not 4 but 5 factions in the solar system. So what is the purpose of the other 4 solar systems? Most of them are empty!! I restarted many times but it was always the same thing. Is there an ETA on the correction of this bug so a faction and his ally can own a solar system and defend it or do I have to create a map myself (with the even more bugged galaxyforge) each time I want to play?

Thanks.

It's not a bug. It fills 5 players to a star before moving to the next one. It doesn't try to evenly spread everyone out, 2 per star (or 1 in your case since it sounds like you're doing 5 players total). Always been like this.

Ok so to avoid this while waiting for the fix can I put empty spaces after me and my ally?

Me

Enemy
Enemy
Enemy

Edit: I just made a test game and it was all random position, not like the way you said. I was with 2 enemies in the solar system and my ally was in another system with 3 enemies. The 3 other systems were empty.

A question for Annatar11 on this, would it be possible to change the starting positions on this map usisng the galaxy forge3?

I'm not the best to ask for map making stuff.. but no, I wouldn't think so since it's a random map.

You can make your own map using map designer that will have 10 players over 5 systems, 2 per system.  It's rather easy.

Yeah that's what I did.

WHAT??? Something in this game that you don't have encyclopedic knowledge on!?!  LOL.  You seem to give the right answer for every other question I've seen you post on.  :P

The problem is even if we put name, team in galaxy forge, when we start a game, we got random start position...

kinda suck =/

For galaxy forge you have to set team index. The name means nothing.

That's what I'm doing. But like all other options, it doesn't work.
