Not an chance to play the beta?

Greetings,

 

A friend of mine told me just 2 days ago about demigod, and i was realy thrilled to have a look at the game. Sadly to say, the beta registration closed one day before i even know about demigod ...

I asked people in the demigod-irc-channel, who told me that there is no way to get into the beta or have an active look at the game until release, even if i would pre-order the game now. Thus i have to wait for th demo or the release to play :/

So, if there is a snowball chance in hell to play that awesome looking game i would like to take it ;)

Anyway the release is not so far, something like a month and a half, and i wont tease you too much but i will just say that i think that it is worth the waiting

Yes u can't get it now but maybe its for the best because some people get put off from the game because its still in beta and what not so now u will have a chance to play demo listen to reviews than decide.

I'm a late adopter myself to the game.  While it does suck that I can't get into the beta, I have been ghosting the forums and the whole game looks and sounds like enough fun that I put in my pre-order anyway.  :)

I just hope this doesn't suck me into a Halo/CS-style trap where I won't be able to step up and play against anyone who has nothing better to do than spend countless days playing the game or who already has a leg up because of beta time.

nah lots of people including myself dodn't play the beta that much and can easily get pwned by others. I play maybe like a game every other day, and i no others are probobly like me or dodn't play as much as i do.
