Entrenchment final retail out on February 4th???

Check this out. IGN says that Entrenchment's final version would be released NEXT WEEK, February 4th!

I still have doubts about it though, for the placeholder dates are, well, placeholder dates and could  hardly be trusted as the actual release dates.

WEll look at it this way you can play entrichment anytime you buy it, and when you buy it you also get to test it, which means even if you dont have the final you still able to play it, regardless and the final date well maybe it will be but it depends on what others want out of the game, by about that stage in the game, so just keep watching the forums and im sure youll get an understanding closer to the final date as to what is happing.

It's not ready anyway, mines are still op, starbases are still up, and there are a couple glitches that would make me incredibly mad if I didn't know this was a beta

Will the final version of Entrenchment be separate and playable from the original SoaSE? I would like to be able to play either the original game or the expansions separate rather than like it is now where if you uninstall Entrenchment you kill the original and have to reinstall from scratch. Just wondering if the expansions and the game will be more compartmentalized like say Galactic Civilizations II.

You will be able to switch back and forth.

that's good, because now with Entrenchement overriding all, without any possibiliy to remove it from the original, I can't play anything at all from it...

Go back to Impulse under MyGames and there is an Uninstall option for Entrenchment.  After uninstalling you will need to reinstall Sins.  Just don't install Entrenchment again.
