Only 3 weeks left until Entrenchment

I'm starting to worry about Entrenchment. There's only about 17 days left until release date( which has been delayed once) and there's still no sign of the beta. Is 1st of Jan an exact release date or just an approx? I really wanna know how's the Entrenchment going, been getting hyped for a few months already :grin:

Hope there's no more delay though but if it's inevitable, then let it be for the sake of a good product.

Unfortunetly, January 1st is neither an exact release date or an approxamation. It is just a placeholder that they put on Impulse. The real release date is completely unknown. Although, if I remember correctly, the devs said that we would be playing the beta over Xmas... Of course, that could change.

Wrong, even if that was right, the date on impulse, it wouldn't be logically possibe.  If they released the beta even today...they wouldn't have enough time.  I'd expect it Q1 2009 thought...if not, then, I'm stumped.

yeah that's what i thought too. So i started asking since i'm not sure how it's going. Now thanks for all the replies, i now know that i shouldn't expect it to come out soon. At least Demigod will keep me company for a while.

It would be nice if that was the correct date but, nope...owell...hopefully the beta will come out within a week or so cause I'm going to be on break and bored when I'm not working....

Since the 1.12 patch was released last week, my educated quess (read: wild speculation) is that the beta will begin this week. Atleast i hope so, the christmas eve is the wednesday of next week already!

They said previously that we'd have the beta for Christmas, but that was before all these ICO problems lately. So who knows.

Without ICO crap everyone is talking about (that I yet have to experience btw!) I think we would be playing Beta in few days - however, I somehow doubt it now... :s

They are understaffed in my opinion so all the delays are inevitable. I think the beta will come in January and will last until March from previous experience..

So basically us single player gamers..have to suffer AGAIN do to online problems. Hey there's an idea...release Entrechment as single player only until you resolve online problems.

Who said they're delaying anything due to ICO issues? I see some conjecturing from a few people, but that's it ;)

Nobody really knows that. But we're not talking about Blizzard here. If a developer has to deal with ICO issues (and if they're code related, they do), that takes someone away from Entrenchment. The logic is pretty sound. :) (Though I'd be quite happy to be wrong on this one.)
