A suggestion...

Suggestion. Auto launch definable ship types from a planet when they are built!!

When I get my empire going i start to crank out constructors like a mad fool. I usually play on the gigantic star system so it takes forever when I cycle through the GNN(?) screen looking for the built constructors. It would be way faster to have the ships be auto launched from a system's orbit and then i could just use tab to find them all... :D

Well, if I hear what you are saying, then look for the auto-launch check box on the planetary build screen. The box is on the left hand side under the military production.

That being said, you can also select the starship list button (the pyramid of triangles) and sort the vessels by destination. This way, all of the vessels that are in space dock will be grouped together.

I hope this helps, if I am off the mark, just ignore me. ;)

I dont see it. Is it a later version addition? I'm only playing the first version of the game since its really my roomate's copy.

Actually that brings me to my next point. I can't find a copy of this game for my own ANYWHERE!! While I'd usually opt for buying the game online, i cant afford it since its in US prices and Im in canada. The game becomes pretty friggin expensive when the price is converted. So has the game been released in canada? I would hope so, cause if not Ive been wasting my time trying to track a copy down :notsure:

Hmm... it may be in a later patch that the auto launch was implemented, I have been playing this for only a few weeks and I got the 1.02 patch immediately. Have your roomate grab the latest patch (1.03, I think).

As for where to buy it, I recently saw it in a Walmart while traveling through Rockymount, NC, so if it is there I assumed you may be able to find it anywhere in North America, last I checked Canada was a part of N.A. :)

Do you have any "Electronic Boutique" in your part of Canada? I noticed there was one in Regina and Ottowa in a quick web search. I bought it in an EB here in the U.S., I do not know why they would not have it in Canada too.

Yeah I stopped by the local EB but nadda :(
I'm in the GTA (toronto) so im sure someone has a copy, somewhere... :notsure:

But I guess if I can't find it by this weekend my last option will be to get it online.
