Ask me something...

Ask me something...

Go ahead.

I'm bored and currently procrastinating. Of course, that's nothing really new. :D

Anywho, I thought I'd get a little community participation going.(At least before ya'll shove off and leave...damned exodus!)

So, I offer you a chance to ask me things...anything at all.  Serious, silly, whatever.  I'll even take suggestions or ideas to write other articles if it do ya. :)

So, questions, anyone?  Ideas? Pick my brain apart, guys...go ahead.

(Note: No obscure trivia...I don't want to research crap of which I have no idea.)

Man, I like the way this conversation has gone from the universe to zebras to Daktari and to song structures. An eclectic bag of goodies, ay what

I love a good miscellaneous discussion. :)

Figured I might as well engage people and they can come up with their own topics.

It's quite fun. :D

Is it appropriate for a man to wear a suede jacket, jeans, and a t-shirt with skulls on it to church?

In my opinion, sure.  I mean why the hell not?  Jackets and jeans are comfortable...and as for a T-shirt with skulls?  Eh, everyone has a skull.

Though I'm sure someone would bitch about it.

Haha, we're going to church with our Realtor (Petey-Pete or Petey Pablo, as we like to call him) and that's pretty much all Adrian has. I think it would be fine. He thinks he needs a polo or something.

Ah yes, the little known 11th Commandment.

And thou shalt wear dressy shirts to church lest ye be damned into eternal hellfire for I am the LORD!

Hey Zoo....I have a question.....

What do you want written on your grave stone?

"Here Lies the Coolest Motherfucker Ever!" :D

"He said that it couldn't hurt, now he's six feet under dirt."

"Keep your feet off my grass, or I'll go zombie on your ass!"

Hmm, you know that's one thing I haven't given much thought and I'm still quite young, so I don't know if there's anything to really sum up just under 20 years of life.

Maybe something about a loyal friend and an easygoing guy...but in reality, I'd like someone to put exactly what most peole saw me as....no matter what that may be: good friend, wise ass, smart guy, annoying shithead.  Hopefully something funny....I mean, death is depressing enough...so a little joke or two to liven the place up a bit. :)

Oooh...now there's a tough one.  I really don't have a favorite.  I mean, picking one out of the dozens and dozens I like...ehh...I was never good at that.  I take each bit of music for what it's worth, and if it sounds good to me then I like it.  The only three genres I normally dislike(there are exceptions) are country, metal, and rap.  Favorite genres include rock, alternative, oldies, soul, R&B, jazz, and a little classical. :)

God I hope so to the first part, hopefully not for the second part. :)

The humor is in the child aspect, really. I can only hope they persist far into the future. :D

Who invented ice cream? ;)

End of quote

Well, the origins of ice cream can be traced back as far as the Roman Emperor Nero who seemed to like ice with fruit toppings. King Tang from China had a way to make milk and ice mixtures. :P Although it seems that no one person has been attributed to the actual invention of ice cream. Augustus Jackson did perfect the technique of making ice cream along with several recipies in 1832, so he's kind of a big figure in the whole ice cream story.

It is likely that Europe imported the idea for ice cream from China and from there evolved into several variations. In America it was further refined because well, Americans like to eat. ;)

The first ice cream parlour in America opened in 1776 and the American colonists gave it the name "ice cream" as opposed to the former "iced cream" term it was going by.

And there's your brief history of ice cream. :D
