Forums Back Up

Huzzah!

We've completed our work for the night and the forums are back up and running.  You'll notice a number of visual changes, and you'll hopefully notice improved speed and general performance.

Please post any issues you run into here.  We've done a lot of testing this past week and tonight, but if something slipped through we want to know so it can be fixed quickly.

Thank you all for your patience.

Thanks for fixing the RSS feeds (yes I been asking for them since Beta 1).... as for the non-standard RSS icons... I'm kinda indifferent, but it might be a good suggestion for future upgrade.

Looks like everyhtihng is pretty much working now. I only see a couple of small glithes left, and they are quite minor.

In the "My Replies" menu, all of the "Your Last Post" and "Last Post" are relfecting only the last post ("Your Last Post" is not working right).

The second one is in the forum main area. All of the "Last Post Info" bits for each of the individule forums seem to be stuck at the time of the shutdown. None of the last posts have updated since the forum came back online.

As I said, quite minor problems. Other than that, it looks like everything is working well. There still seems to be a bug in the quotes on replies (see my earlier post for details).

[EDIT] testing the edit feature for carriage return failures.

The only problem I've experienced is that now the forums have a slide bar at the bottom, I can't see a post without sliding back and forth. (:(

Looks fixed! Thanks!

I just received this error when trying to make a post.

Code: c++
 1.
 2.
 3. As you can see; the windows vary in size. This is unrealistic and all windows should be the same size and style, to promote individualism and uniqueness. We all enjoy seeing the same repetitive style on buildings! So much in fact, that I am proposing we rally to have the building with the larger window demolished and rebuilt with more standard windows. We must not care on when the building was built, what it was built with, the men who built it, or the money that made it. We must ignore all other factors and abolish artists and their damning ways of public destruction and encouragement in non-repetive patterns.
 4. I am fully in support of making new textures and models for something that degrades the value of the game; different sizes in windows. We must ignore the fact that the ships cost different money; were made in different cultures, and some are older than others. We must have repeating shapes!
 5. Server Error in '/' Application.
 6. Access Denied
 7. Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.
 8. Exception Details: System.Web.HttpException: Access Denied
 9. Source Error:
 10. An unhandled exception was generated during the execution of the current web request. Information regarding the origin and location of the exception can be identified using the exception stack trace below.
 11. Stack Trace:
 12. [HttpException (0x80004005): Access Denied]

Obviously the top part is the messenge; the bottom part being the error.
EDIT3: Just do a ctrl+a in the code box to see all the text.
