Nit Pick

The science sucks in this game. In the universe star systems tend to be heliocentric ( with the exception of binary and trinary star systems). Take for example our own star system. You have the Sun in the middle with several satellite planets in orbit around the Sun. Masters of Orion 2 did just that. It had many star system that were heliocentric.

Speaking of our own star systems. TEC = human yes? Where is Earth, Mars, Saturn??? When I played my first game, I thought to myself, "I’ll play TEC and the first chance I get I’ll colonize Mars." Boy was I surprised.

Sins will be a hit. So if Ironclad/Stardock comes out with Sins 2 ( and there will be a Sins 2 ) make sure you get it right next time around.

You can rename planets, so if you'd like, you can easily create a custom map for our solar system, play TEC, name all the planets, and you're set.

You have to remember that this is a game. So what if the science behind it isnt correct. Doesnt mean that it isnt any less fun to play.

The planets in SINS could very easily be heliocentric. You're only seeing one point on their orbits, after all. :P

And why, pray tell, does "human" have to mean "In the Sol system"? The Honor Harrington series takes place in a sector over 600LY from Sol for the most part. And that's just one SF example. SINS is no different.
