More Noobie Questions

First off, I would like to say that I am really looking forward to the release of Sins. It looks like it is going to be an excellent game!

However, I just have a few questions about it. One, is their going to be any form of training area, with general information on the game, like there was in GalCivII? Or can players watch multiplayer games and see how the experts play? It would be pretty cool if a new player could be placed on a locked team with two other expert players, and watch people who know what they are doing duke it out  :D (and not get destroyed in the process)

Another question, does the CE come with a disc? I usually prefer to get a disc for any computer games, incase something happens to the computer and I need to get a new one.

I apologize if these questions have been asked before, but I'm to lazy to search through the entire forums to find the information ;p

Thanks again!

You can watch replays from games, and Stardock is going to integrate mod/replay sharing into the site at some point :P

Yep, disc and you also get download access ;)

Yeah, unlike EA games "link" thinkey, most reputable downloadable games sites (specifically, SDC, steam and direct2drive -- I don't know of any other reputable ones) will let you download more than once.

Edit: I can't believe I forgot SDC!

As before, I would appreciate the help with a small question that I have.

Seeing as my parents don't want to spend the 15 dollars shipping and handling fee to ship the Collectors Edition  :SURPRISED: I was wondering if there was going to be anywhere else I could find the hotkey commands and some of the tech tree information out of game, like on this site?

I believe there will be a PDF manual with the full download version of the game ... :CONGRAT:

If you want all the CE box goodies without the $15 shipping, try your local BestBuy, EB Games, GameStop or Walmart.

The digital distribution version of the game will come with the manual in PDF form, but it won't have the hotkey card, art posters or soundtrack CD.

So, will those stores also be carrying the CE? I thought I read somewhere on the forum that they would only be carrying standard retail. Good news if true!

I also thought I saw someone on a forum say that the CE was only going to be available on the website, but I am not complaining if it will be in stores as well :CONGRAT:

I believe Yarlen said the CE box is via Stardock ONLY , Zoomba is prolly wrong :d

I will check on Monday morning for complete details and get back to you with the definite right answer.

EDIT: It appears I was wrong.  At the time, the CE is only available for purchase from Stardock.  My apologies
