Multiple Cores

I just ordered my new pc in, well the parts anyway and I decided to go for the Q6600.

Anyway I believe I heard that galciv2 will use all 4 cores, is this true? What performance differences might I notice?

Bumping this . . . I also have a Q6600 and with the upcoming extra-huge maps in the new expansion multicore support would be very handy.

The AI is multithreaded, though I'm not sure if it'll use more than two cores or not (that's a Frogboy question).
